A suggestion for improving the forum

Post by Siobhán »

Generally speaking this forum is fine, I just have one suggestion that might help improve it. If it already exists, please tell me where.

I think an "active topics" type menu on the forum would help - at the moment I think you have to go through each separate section to reach the new posts.

An idea, d'you think?
Yes, I'm a Munster fan. Deal with it.

Hhhhhmmmm, so long as it wouldn't encourage threads to stray off topic!

If they're going to stray off-topic they will, whether or not you have an "active topics" thing.

It is something I've looked at, but I couldn't find anything that fitted the bill for this forum.

However, there should be a new version of the forum software released within the next few months with lots more bells and whistles, one of which is an active topic list. Once that's released, it'll be on here fairly quickly...

Until then, go with what Darce said.

and whilst you're at it, maybe you could change the name of the general chat section to Blabla and put a load of sticky threads at the top of every section, oh oh, and change the leinster addicts bit to the red army section and you may as well change the title from leinsterfans to munsterfans...

I don't do 'wrong'. You're straying from the non-issue and you know it.
