Backs quietly out of the room - I'm leaving this one for Donny B!
Actually I completely agree with him. Our seconds team is very much a development team and should have been in the J5s with the other teams who (apart from Terenure) are of a similiar ilk. Putting them up against more experienced J4 sides who hand out hidings most weeks does nothing for morale.

I totally agree too, it kills the spirit going out getting a hammering each week.

We were in that position last season but pulled it around this season.
It's certainly dispiriting though.

You have done and fair play to Unidare, but that's your firsts.

If our firsts had been in Section D or C I think they would have done very well to be honest.

Unfortunately they were up in Section A where they also took a lot of hidings.

As opposed to all the other teams we have?
You guys gave us a kicking last year. There was a vast difference in quality that day out in Kiltipper.
I thought it was a bit unfair putting you guys in Section A this year. You had a strong case to be in Section B

We were originally, but then they moved us up.

Sorry, forgot you don't have a J5 team.

Coolmine really blew by losing to the Gick. A win there and against Mary's would have seen them secure it.

Frankly, I'm delight. Bunch of dicks IMO

You are right there. My apologies. I was reading tarfs points by accident and thinking they would have won it on points diff or something like that.

They're still dicks.

Curiosity made me check. Is that the Emerald Warriors first win? If so well done. :happy clapper: :happy clapper: :happy clapper:
I like to think of Jesus like with giant eagles wings, and singin' lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an angel band and I'm in the front row and I'm hammered drunk!

It is indeed and a very large session was held to celebrate!!! Congrats to El Presidente Shane and all the lads and to coach Gearoid Ferrick - they've been looking more and more like this was coming all season.

Hopefully now that they've realised they can win they'll kick on and have a much better next season.

And on the same weekend Collidge J4s were promoted from the same league. Aside from Ireland losing it was a pretty good rugby weekend!

Both teams, played a couple of weeks ago in the league and was a good game which Marys just won out.

Should be another good one instore.

On a seperate note, How lobsided is the draw? Anyone in the bottom half has a real slog to get to the final and win. Coolmine should walk the top half

Scrummaging will be obligatory this season at all levels down to J4.
Any teams not able to field a front row will be penalized.
