Re: J4 Rugby Metro League
Bloody hell!!! The branch have only gone and registered the result of the Clontarf Blackrock J4 fixture as 12-5, despite the fact that there was no ref appointed from the branch and that it was only an informal friendly, 60min friendly that took place on the day, simply because we all turned up.Darce wrote:In a calamitous piece of organising by the branch, they forgot to assign a ref to the Rock - 'Tarf fixture...
Can't say anyone in Rock will be happy with that.

Any word on Belvo J4. I know they got kicked out of J5, but are they in J4 league, or out altogether? Sportsmanager.ie still has Athy in Section A pool 1.

I see the J4 fixtures for the 13th of November are scheduled for 2.30, the same time as the Samoa game!

Suttonians are running away with Pool 3. Apparently they're the J1 team that have retired.

It's the place for 'em! They were always the wrong side of 50 or 60 points.tones wrote:Suttonians are running away with Pool 3. Apparently they're the J1 team that have retired.

Ridiculous carry-on alright. Re: J4 Rugby Metro League
Whatever about the other clubs, which are junior ones, that's the second league Belvo have banjaxed, not to mention they're in AIL1A and should have no problem fielding a team.

Is Phase 2 of Section A ever going to start? Rock v Clontarf from Phase 1 still to be played following the snow!

Problem could have been sorted weeks ago except for the branch f%~king around with it.Soundgav2 wrote:Is Phase 2 of Section A ever going to start? Rock v Clontarf from Phase 1 still to be played following the snow!
Week 1 they didn't assign a ref to the fixture.
Then they post the result of a kick about played between the 2 teams on that day.
Then refused to have a replay.
Then concocted a plan that if Rock were to miss out on the top 3 because of this, then they would refix game. Tarf duly beat 'Stones and Rock dropped to 4th, automatically triggering a refixture of the match.
Could have been played at any stage in between then and now. So daft

So I'm assuming we wont have a game this weekend? Weather would probably end up postponing it anyway. Will this mean we're crammed with fixtures post christmas?

Re: J4 Rugby Metro League
Last Saturday's games have been rescheduled for the 11th of December.
It'll be a miracle if this week's games go ahead so they will be rescheduled for the 18th or maybe some time during the 6N.

Meanwhile when the pitches are perfect in April and May there''ll be no bloody fixtures!Leinsterman wrote:Last Saturday's games have been rescheduled for the 11th of December.

Re: J4 Rugby Metro League
Last week's result has been declared a draw. Rock are in the premier division, Tarf in division 1. The super sixes are due to start this weekend, so presumably all will be cancelled!
