Can't say I'm delighted with that though. I thought inter pro clashes were supposed to be sacrosanct? There are 5, I think, ST holders in our squad and I'm sure there are a number in the 'Rock team we'll be playing and we're missing the Connacht match (Or most of it anyway) cause of the timing of the KO. Not happy about that at all!
Good shout
Surely Rock wouldn't be averse to bringing the kick-off forward an hour or so Darce?

I'll mention it to them...

The Branch couldn't care less so long as they get adequate notice and the ref is also informed.
Make sure this gets updated by tomorrow because the ref will expect the game to be on at 3pm otherwise.

Could you not have got the game brought forward an hour or two? Tallaght - Millmount House was brought forward to 2.00 thankfully.

Anyone know what's going on with the table? Malahide scored 40 points but didn't score a try?
possibly a walk over result? that match was down as having been called off on the table earlier in the week
Perhaps, but since when do you get forty points for a walkover?
Malahide did play Millmount and as far as I recall it was six tries (maybe 7 but maths doesn't work out) 5 conversions.

crappy wet day and I didn't even get on for run!! :(

Maybe match report did not include tries scored I hope it has no relevance come the end of the league...

Have Clondalkin any chance of winning the match?

I reckon they'll give it a darn good shot.
Their J4 team have a very large pack and a couple of steamrollers in the backs.
Very nicely disciplined phased rugby.

Make sure this gets updated by tomorrow because the ref will expect the game to be on at 3pm otherwise.

Reffing many games this season, Fester?

Hopefully. I've put a stop to the playing and will be able to concentrate on running fitness. Smashing into tackle bags isn't much good for trying to keep up with 19 year olds playing something resembling basketball.

Unidare have had rugby posts installed in Balcurris Park and, fingers crossed, will be playing their first ever game there on Saturday against Tallaght.
Quite a momentus occasion for the club and the area in Ballymun.

We have a pitch!
Anything else is a luxury. We have the use of Trinity Comprehensive on match days down the road for teams to shower and change. Real community effort being put in place here. It's great to see.
