Played the full 80 minutes at 12 and made a good break from his 22 for the first try, put in a lot of good kicks to pen Shannon back to the corners and finished off the game opening the defence with an inside pass to set up Belvo's 6th try. Good game.
Andy Dunne was taking the place kicks.
Far better game to watch than the Samoa match.
6 tries, what was the final score?

Dumb rule

If the pro players were distributed between clubs with a bit of equity like in Ulster, then I'd agree. But given that in Leinster they all seem to congregate at certain clubs for no logical reason (like Lansdowne last year) then I'm all for it.

Just back , & thawing out!, after watching Belvo win 18-15 at Dolphin. Belvo had flanker sent off just before half-time when the score was 12-12.

They ground out the second half and ended up bossing it. Winner was a drop goal in injury time.

Sweet!

Went to the Blackrock Marys game.

Marys were crusing with 20 to go 21-3 up and rock were hopeless.

Marys have a bit of a problem closing out games though and rock scored two tries and Marys were left hanging on for dear life to win 21-18.

Has Darragh Fanning's move to Connacht affected Mary's season much this year?

He wasn't the only player they lost and it did affect them at the start of the season. However they've bounced back now with four wins in a row so the new guys are starting to fit in well. Darren Hudson and Ronan Doherty are both fine wingers.
