The Lack of club youth rugby. With all the school rugby section in the news paper this week i dont know why club don't get even a little attention.Any one feel the same ???

Demographics

Far bigger interest in schools rugby than youths, the average attendance at SCT 1st round game would exceed a Culliton Cup final. The Hogan cup in GAA would be on a par with Leinster SCT and in fairness that competiton gets as much column inches.

Past pupils from 18 to 90 years old have been filling Donnybrook for years. Like most things on TV it is years of support that has lead to it's coverage in the media not just a decision by some old boy.

I remember a 'Rock Clongowes quater final match having 5,000 at it in 98.

30K at one schools final one year too.

Rock and belvo in 05 or 06 I think.

Massive crowd for Gick and Marys about 8/9 years back too
