A lot of reading there. Seems like some thought and research has gone into this document and that they have listened to the answers they got. But will it be accepted?

The criteria for Clubs to be admitted to the AIL seems reasonable. If you can't make these criteria, you don't deserve to be in an All Ireland competition.

Trying to get a season structure which keeps the momentum for all players and supporters is essential if the All Ireland League is to continue being relevant. Despite the calls previously about having provincial Leagues leading into an All Ireland competition, it appears that neither Players nor Clubs actually want this structure, but the vast majority want an All Ireland dimension. With the quality of roads we now have the travelling aspect - for all Leinster Clubs and the majority of games - is no longer a major issue.

Well done to whatever committee put this together. A lot of good ideas and not too many stupid compromises

Dolphin 32 UCD 55. Every time College got the ball they scored a try. Thirteen tries in all, great entertainment. And.....

....the stand @ Musgrave Park has disappeared!

One thing that should be looked at is the scheduling of matches to correspond with fixtures in the Rabo.
Sat Mar 29th Leinster vs Munster has been known for a long time
How hard would it have been to have Belvo vs Con, Tarf vs YM, St Marys vs Garryowen scheduled for the same weekend, instead we get..
Tarf vs Belvo (should be a good game!)
UCD vs Lansdowne
Conn vs Ballynihinch
Dolphin vs Garryowen
YM vs St Marys
So 0 Matches in Dublin that weekend for traveling Munster club fans.
Same story in Oct for the Limerick clubs.

There six Cork teams in the AIL. How many are playing in Cork next weekend?...................None!

Any travelling Munster club fans will be very welcome at Castle Avenue this evening to see the potential title decider between the two best teams in the league

2nd half of Tarf Belvedere is up on the irish website.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUT08...em-uploademail
Tarf only have to match or better Belvedere's results in the last few rounds of games considering their much superior points difference,

In all of the other divisions the champions have been decided with the other promotion places and some relegation places yet to be decided
Terenure won 1B, Galwegians 2A and we won 2B.

Tarf have a game in hand so 10 points in 3 games will guarantee the title at last

Actually as the game in hand is next weekend and then the next match is Friday 11th away to Landsdowne if Tarf get the 10 points they will be champions before Belvo play another game

Bit of a shocker @ Temple Hill on Saturday with Cork Con losing 8-37 to Ballinahinch. The result all but sends Garryownen through the trapdoor. Time for a conspirancy theory....

Careful what you say about the Cork Con Mafia, their reach is far!
It is just as likely Garrowen wanted to be in the same League as Shannon next year anyway as they make more out of that pre match lunch than the rest of them put together. That sounds like it could be true but I have no idea. It is about as likely as Con throwing a game to get Garryowen relegated.
In fairness Con had nothing to play for while Hinch are fighting for survival

Wouldn't say they've choked but they'll be disappointed with recent results..

We're getting 2B trophy tomorrow up in Ards. Won league last time out at home shame we couldn't have been presented with trophy at home.

They will be bitterly disappointed considering that was a seriously young Lansdowne team most of them I think by the teamsheet are either current under 20's or were under 20s last season. Two wins by Belvo and league is theirs !!

Ballynahinch look to be the form team going into their end of season clash with Clontarf. Belvo should have too much for an already relegated Garryowen so if Hinch can win - they will hope for a helping hand by Lansdowne over Dolphin of even Young Munster to get zero points - in their bid to avoid the play-off.
Seems more likely any celebrations if there are to be any at Castle Avenue will be for the visiting team - which would have seemed very unlikely a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah couldn't see anything but Clontarf winning the league especially after they bet Belvo at home a few weeks back. Belvo never gave up and are getting their rewards. Interesting last week and with the way things have gone lately I wouldn't be suprised if there was another twist this weekend.

Won't be much excitement eitherway at UCD match which they should win comfartably. BUT if Clontarf win and Belvo loose and Hinch get to stay up, Castle Avenue is likely to explode on Saturday. Lots of if ands or buts. I would go to Tarf game but they will be fairly gloomy if it doesn't work out

Don't see UCD winning comfortably at all however messy YMs season is going. Belvedere wont lose to Garryowen they're just too strong.
Ballynahinch will still more than likely have playoff with 2nd in 1B even with a win on Saturday

I think UCD will do the Buisness handily enough.Lots of permations still possible. Belvo were lucky enough against Dolphin and with so much at stake next week for about 5 clubs anything could happen
