What joke by Tralee. Most LL 2nds would have leaked less points. Maybe it was their seconds??

Was at this game. Tralee were just shite. Look pretty unfit, unorganised and lacking in skill. Their Loosehead looked obese.

I doubt the bus trip helped them much either

can anyone explain why there is little or no rugby this weekend, but there was a full round of games the bank holiday weekend, makes no sense to me, but could be missing something.

As a matter of interest does anyone know how many teams get promoted out of Leinster League Division 3?

C'mon Donny!! Don't be settling for 2nd just now. Think the 2nd place team play a play off with the 2nd last team to decided if a 2nd LL3 team goes up or just 1 from LL2 goes down

i think thats right, 1 up/down and a then a playoff in all divisions, but then it all changes again if a leinster side gets relegated from AIL, not sure where the extra side will eventually end up as they've managed to get each of the top junior divisions at 8 sides each, and i assume they'll try everything to keep it that way. just something to watch as theres a few our stuggling early doors this year. in fact theres a bit of the branch mail earlier on it this year

*** Promotion and relegation as outlined above is subject to promotion and relegation between the Leinster League and the Ulster Bank League (AIL) as Divisions 1A, 1B and 2A will contain eight teams playing home and away in 2012/13

Not 'settling' for anything, just wanted to know what the situation is. To be honest I'm just delighted Tallaght has made a very solid start to the league with three wins and a draw. However we know Arklow and Guinness are our two biggest rivals and we face them both over the next two weeks. We'll have a much better idea of where we really after those two games.

I can only comment on 1B as thats what I've bben watching. The quality of the rugby has been very good with all teams competitive. Portlaoise have lost some ground and will need to start winning but all other teams look capable of beating each other.

1A i think skerries will just pip newbridge to the league, they have them at home and they've looked very strong there, will be very close,
Between dundalk and garda for relegation, i think garda will manage to scrape home,

1B, from the games i've seen and read about, it seems the most evenly matched league. the lower placed sides are all competitive. I think cill dara's experience will win through. i think portlaois will start to get some of their GAA lads back and become competitive and get off the bottom. between them, clondalkin and ashbourne.

2 i think portarlington will win it, they're unbeaten and have the experience of doing it 2 years ago. north kildare are blessed WO lions are in the division! west offaly will go.
