Known the kid since he was little, as he was in my lads class in National School. He was at the Andrew's Belvo "match" as his family are all Andrew's and I was chatting to him before the game and made a quip "could have been you out there Liam"......he laughed nervously......
question for you, would he be bigger or smaller than larmour?

was your son playing for andrews?

Tom Roche was excellent yesterday for Blackrock at 15, younger brother of Ireland 7's player Mark Roche, who played with Leinster up to u20 level.

Believe he is u19, this is his 1st year playing SCT rugby I believe.

Smaller and pretty slight though he's still young I suppose. He's a cracking player no doubt but he is very small for a rugby player. No, I have two lads who played previously.
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us

Entertaining game between Roscrea and Gonzaga this afternoon. Defences definitely not on top. Currently 36-24 to Gonzaga with a little over 5 minutes left.
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

Tackling was optional, the poorest quality of the 4 q/fs.

Gonzaga College v Blackrock College
Belvedere College v Clongowes Wood College

Two heavy favourites there.

Or, you could say that the 3/4s on both sides moved the ball really quickly at times and some of the passing was top class. I was very impressed by the Gonzaga FB, terrific acceleration, scrumhalf pretty good as well.

Rock gave us Dev, Belvo gave us the Lenehan brothers, Gonzaga gave us McDowell and Eamon Ryan.

I think I might just wear purple and white for this round

Roscrea have announced that the school is to close. Bit of an extreme reaction to losing to Gonzaga but each to their own.

Newsflash: People can go to more than one school.
