Michaels won 75-7....

This team had a big reputation, have a special player at 13 combined with some very good players throughout the team.

The excessive hype of the individual players by Aidan McCullen on Eir Sports makes for difficult viewing. As always Murray Kinsella's analysis and Preview have been excellent but spare me McCullen and his hype.

Belvo 10-0 at the h/t and worth it against the beef+-fed Rock pack. Not as good a game as the finals of last three years but weatherconditions terrible, definitely making it a game of two halves.

Brave win for Belvo pack who played as a team, unlike Rock who appeared to be bigger but definitely less likely to use their team mates.

Not sure that's fair, Belvo essentially played one-out runners or kicked for the whole match, which was ideal for the conditions. Rock were a bit naive and tried to play too much rugby in terrible weather against a very good Belvo defence.

Agreed.

Shame final was played in those conditions.

Think there was a 7s provincial competition played recently enough though it could have been Ulster.

2nds/3rds leagues nearly finished as well and then its junior sch cup replay wednesday. Who are people tipping to win replay of juniors??

Michaels won the junior cup 31-17, but could have been much bigger.

Chris Cosgrave scored an outrageous try.

I was photographing the game yesterday and can attest to how good that Cosgrave try was. Anyone interested the photos of yesterday's final (including that try) and most of this year's Senior & Junior games is here https://www.wolfgangvisual.ie/
