Are Barron's the new 46A? [D4 joke loike]...both schools had Barron's at Hooker on the SCT teams, this time Barron's rule at Loose-Head Prop...Zaga had one on the wing...no Kings or Earls to be seen...but Zachs are in key positions for both. Totes amazeballs

Having had a full, unhindered playing career following early shoulder surgery (I severed all my shoulder ligaments when a JCT player), my tuppence-worth to both him and his dad on Sunday evening was to be prepared to sacrifice Irish schools in favour of doing whatever is prescribed by the medics. He has next season to gain schools caps, a possible career in the pro ranks and, most importantly, a life to lead after rugby. Surprisingly tall for a hooker, I'd say about 6' 2"...but as per the genes.
Who would be your players to watch out for next year?

I think the Michael’s JCT scrum-half, Gunne, will play 3 years at SCT. He has a great pass and is a hell of a place-kicker.

Yeah he seems to be a talent, almost certain to be involved in squad, not sure if he will start all 3 years. Started for Michaels JCT last season as a 2nd year.

David Woods in the row looks to be another player who could play SCT next season.

It will be interesting to see if Guinane or Hickey move positions for next season, Guinane to 5 possibly, Hickey to 6 or 7. Or if they will stay put.

But that's a long way down the line.

Agreed. Zach Baird will also be an option.

Baird looks like he will be a front row in a year or two to me, interesting as he throws into the lineout for the JCT team.

Anyone know what happened to Cian Duffy, Liam Heylin and Ross Barron for Blackrock this year. Were they all injured for cup?

I’d heard good things about Duffy especially as a potential sub academy prospect

Is the U13 cup not meant to be U14? and is it still just Michaels, Rock, CBC, Marys?
