Gonzaga just beat Pres Bray in the quarter final replay. Not a great game. Pres pretty dominant throughout but Zaga took their chances better. As usual, strong Pres pack let down by weak backs.

Nure were favourites for this one. Perhaps they didn't fancy meeting Rock in the semis and buckled! It is a good Knock side though. I think 6 of them are on their 2nd year on the team (a couple of front rows, a couple of backrows, the scrumhalf and the inside centre).

Great result for the mighty knock! Still distraught after the Mary's senior game so to beat a good gick team is a huge boost for the school. Bring on Belvo... :)

As predicted on this thread, Gonzaga make the final. Rock should see them off fairly handily though.

There was a patch off some strange green stuff just beyond the side line. Anybody know what it was?

Green Stuff

Post by Slipper1 »

Its a new synthetic tennis court Flash - being built to last, as it seems that there will be no development on that side of the pitch for a while.

I have had two occasions to venture on to the pitch in the last 5 days - 80 minutes of rugby is a nightmare. in the two games we have had 1 snapped cruciate, three substitutions for ankle injuries and untold stoppages for cramp - all attributed to the strand like surface. Though this is an argument for a different thread in a different forum.

As soon as the rock supporters did their pitch invasion, I thought of you Flash. I'd say you flew into a crazed rage at the sight of that.
