Newbridge score? Or dare I ask?
A little known fact about JC (not Jerry, the other one. The nice Jewish boy) was that he was a top-level statistician. Where does the bible tell us this? Mark 6:30-44

zaga into the next round if both comps, fair play to the boys in green. Now if only the big boys in green could win us their next few matches . . .

CBC should have won with the drop goal but the replacement out-half bottled it completely. About 10 metres out and straight in front of the posts with no rush defense and the ball barely left the ground.
At least he had the balls to step up and have a pop!!!!! I'm sure you would have missed as well!!! Try to empathise with people before you post!!!!!!!

The guy is 14 years of age, comments like that are totally unnecessary & ignorant. I have seen top class internationals miss simple drop goals due to presssure, so to slag off a young guy in what is the bigeest game of his life (so far), is totally wrong...

Agree, even in firendlys kids at that age get nervous. Skills (and bad habits) do not get embedded until you reach late teens

Marys lost to Belvedere 7-8,to a very dodgy penalty in last few minutes.Woeful reffing as usual from Mark Gargan. No wonder he has never progressed from this level.

Blackrock v templeogue, should of been Marian I was tipping them to be finalists at lease in godfrey. Pitty about the ref was all I could say, at lease Andrew Coffey 6''2 would of struck fear into rocks centres lol!

What time does the newbridge match kick off?
A little known fact about JC (not Jerry, the other one. The nice Jewish boy) was that he was a top-level statistician. Where does the bible tell us this? Mark 6:30-44

Match was 3-3 at half time. Quite windy and Newbridge had the wind in the first half. In the second half, Gerard's had a try not given (pile of bodies and the ref couldn't make up his mind so gave a scrum 5), but they got over in the corner soon afterwards, but the conversion was missed.

Newbridge stole a Gerard's line out in the Gerard's 22 shortly afterwards and went over for their own try which they converted giving them a 10-8 lead. About 5 minutes later, Gerard's were back in the Newbridge 22 and got a penalty in front of the posts for offside which they converted to give them back the lead 11-10 which they held for the remaining 7 minutes of the game.

It was a very close match. Third time the sides have met this year; Newbridge winning the first by a point, the second drawn and the third to Gerard's by a point.

Must be the same Mark Gargan who is refereeing the SCT Semi Final and is a Heineken Cup touch judge. Damn progression.
