JP Fanagan League

Post by Belvo Boy »

With 7 rounds of the league gone its pretty much a 5 horse race for the semi spots. Its hard to see Seapoint mess up again loosing to Salmo was a blunder but they should bounce back against Newbridge 1st match back in Jan. Irrespective who makes the playoff. This league is for Collidge to loose they are head and shoulders ahead of everybody. The only dark horse might be Bective.

UCD's win in Newbridge in round two is significant when you consider that in the four years that Newbridge have played at this level they have only lost twice at home. Traditionally the Dublin teams struggle on the road outside of the pale ( not surprising ) based on that result and their form there after UCD would have to be considered Favs to win. Having said that I reckon some of the mid table teams might have a big say in who makes the semi finals. Take the results last weekend between Seapoint and Salmo foe example plus Newbridge did very well to get a result in Coolmine.
