Excellent post,feel really sorry for some of those guys particularly the ones still playing.This list could go on for miles but Trimble,Quinlan,Miller,Victor Costello and Shane Byrne come to mind.

Thank you for our last Slam, your mantle as Grand Slam heroes has stood for 61 years and the passing of that mantle has been long overdue, you've been great ambassadors for the game in this country thank you for the memories!

Feel sorry for the boys visable at the dunne fight tonight - Shaggster and Disco Den - heroes in both Irish and Leinster jerseys - They deserve it as much as the lads in cardiff do now!

Anyone else at the home coming? Was all the way back at Waterstone's and could hear absolutely nothing. Not sure if it was the mic, or the way Des Cahill was holding it, or a problem with the amps. Pity.
