Whats the point of waiting til four to make the announcement. The latest they could start today was 2pm, so its safe to say nothing is going to happen

Organisers "hopeful of play at some point this afternoon" - good luck with that

Feel for the Welsh public because this could turn out to be a total farce.

Staging the Ryder Cup in October in Britain is a 50/50 :(

Play to resume at five o'clock. Should get about two hours in before the light goes. Will almost certainly go onto Monday now.

They've dumped a session to try to finish on time.

Session 2 6 Foursomes
Session 3 2 Foursomes & 4 fourballs
Session 4 12 Singles

Means everyone will be playing once they finish this session.

Yeah, but he's not the one being blamed for keeping Casey out of the team

A sweaty one but at least they got a half, not bad considering the way Cink putted yesterday. Last match is gone so depends on whether Poulter and Fisher can scramble a half in their match.

As long as your well rested for far more important sporting events later on today
The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

Does anyone else think that Celtic Manor looks cr@p. I know they've had lots of rain, but overall the course looks tatty. There are great big swathes of ground that are just bare clay (e.g. behind the 13th teebox). The river looks like a sewer, completely brown and very uninviting. And the general background would do nothing to make one want to visit Wales.
