Quick question: is the 1st B&I Cup game on Fri 12th or Sat 13th? I thought it was originally scheduled for the Sat.

The 'agenda' view on this is quite handy, particularly for looking up past scores/results...

Could any of you help with telling me how to add a .ics file to the calendar of a Samsung Galaxy S2? I can't seem to find an option for adding a calendar via url, and adding all of the matches individually seems like an awful lot of trouble.

Are you using the Samsung calendar? If so it should link to any calendars you have linked to your gmail account?

In other words I have enabled the above public Google calendar of Leinster fixtures in my gmail account, so it automatically shows up on my Galaxy S3, Nexus tablet, laptop and PC.

More importantly, it also shows on Mrs Deco's Galaxy S2.

Eh, obviously you'll need to set up your S3 to sync with your gmail account.

I've set up the .ics from the Leinster website on my google mail account, but it's not appearing on the phone. (It's his phone, and he's even less techy than I am.)

I've seen threads talking about downloading an app to help adding .ics files, but they didn't seem to work for me. (It didn't help that once I'd installed the app, I couldn't actually find it on the phone!)

Not sure what calendar app you're using, and not sure that you need to add the .ICS to the phone.

Check in your calendar settings that you have selected the correct email account AND calendar.

This is the setting page in S planner, if it helps:

Have been using this calendar:

https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?s ... ssionid=OK

Which I very much appreciate, so thanks. I really don't want to sound ungrateful, but may I suggest that it would be helpful if the TV channel that the game was being shown on was added?

Edit - I've just noticed that when you click on the game it does say what channel the game was on. It was probably like this already, but cheers either way.

Nope.

I added them as a result of your excellent suggestion :-).

Who added Evan's birthday to the calendar without telling us all the venue or the dress code!?

Yeah, but Zebre at 4pm on Sunday; no time to get back in time for work the next day.

Bought my missus tickets for Pink on the 13th for her birthday. Oh well. I'll have to take someone else to Thomond and she'll have to take someone else to Pink. Was hoping for the Friday. :-(

Seriously? Are you actually disappointed that you can't go to see Pink?

Sure. But also disappointed I can't take my missus to Thomond.

I'm way past worrying what band are "cool" :)

(The word "cool" to be pronounced like someone's Da in the 1970s sounding like he had never uttered the word before and was uncomfortable with it on his tongue)
