I reckon Nike will provide the best range of clobber overall.

Was it not a 8/9 year contract?
Munster. I hate the word, as I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee.
Re: Puma End Ireland deal
If Canterbury are capable of producing something that's actually respectable then fine. Otherwise I think Nike would be better.Darce wrote:Chavidas or Nike

PR releases at the time said an 8 year deal starting in 2009/10 season. E.g. http://www.irishrugby.ie/news/14199.phpRogocoko wrote:Was it not a 8/9 year contract?
Get out clauses are not unusual, I'd imagine, in such sponsorship deals. It suddenly being a 5/6 year deal is a bit odd, alright.

I thought every jersey they brought out was much to be honest.
Would like it to go back to CCC.

As the people who brought us the turquoise and black Ireland alternate jerseys, I say good riddance to Puma.

"The IRFU confirmed this afternoon that Puma will continue to supply kit to all international teams until the end of the 2013/14 season as part of their exit from all rugby activity across Europe."
and now relax......

Good point, they were both hideous, especially that turquoise yoke!cormac wrote:As the people who brought us the turquoise and black Ireland alternate jerseys, I say good riddance to Puma.

As i said in the thread in the Leinster section;
Wouldn't mind seeing O'Neills get the deal (nice shirts and an Irish brand). Probably can't compete with the likes of Nike/Adidas/CCC though. Rugbytech can make a nice shirt too every now and then.
