Think we will see a big crowd travelling, especially as their is no potential away semi to consider.
A friday/sunday evening kick off would seriously knock the numbers down.

Finally managed to sort out flights. If you are on the 12am from Stanstead to Marseille on the 4th make sure and say hi. I'll be the sleep deprived person in the Leinster hoody (6am train from Newcastle). Love it.

Fixture is announced on Monday, so either later that day or maybe Tuesday.

Really don't understand the panic - there's no way we will get 3600 (our allocation) to this game given the place is a bitch to get to.

From the IT today:
Despite the Sunday evening fixture, Leinster have confirmed they will be taking their full quota of tickets for the Heineken Cup quarter-final against Toulon on April 6th.

The Stade Félix Mayol holds only 15,400 but under ERC rules travelling fans are entitled to purchase 25 percent of the capacity (3,841).

It was estimated that around 11,000 made the trip for Leinster’s semi-final win over Clermont Auvergne in Bordeaux two years ago. There was 32,397 in total at the Stade Chaban Delmas and that was also a Sunday fixture.

Where did they get the idea that 11k went to Bordeaux for the SF?!

Would have thought from being there 5,000 would have been nearer the mark ?.

In fairness most of us were seeing double by the end of the game so 5000 x 2 sounds about right.
Think the actual figure was 4000

It just sounded like there were 11 thousand of us - whenever I watch that game back on TV I have to admit that we made some noise that day.

I was talking to someone who was on holidays there last summer and they said if I ever went check the bar prices before you order, they went into a piano bar and pints were €27, needless to say they left after the first one with lesson learned, well they drank it very slowly waiting for the "entertainment" to start but it was just some bloke playing piano !
