I'll support you my man (if you promise not to shoot anyone through the bathroom door)

Build it and they will come.

By way of reply to LRIP from the birthday thread:

Happy birthday Peg Leg! Any update on your sponsorship crusade??
I bit the bullet and shelled out.... your offers of support were enough to drive me on. Thank you all for the offer, honestly inspiring.

This is the tester Blade
Image

The red block at the back is for tweaking camber, height and various other angles.
The tester is used to find the most suitable "fit" for the type of running you plan to do. I will have it for relatively low impact distance jog/running (jump with good leg, land with knee almost straight, bounce off blade)- which is set up completely different to sprinting (force blade as hard into the ground as you can to generate the desired motion). I have had this tester for 2 weeks and I'll be returning it today for IDS (Independent Disability Services- Cappagh Hos.) for them to manufacture the carbon fibre leg socket and fix the blade to it.

Looks great! Fair play for shelling out, I'm sure it'll be worth it though. Best of luck with it all!

P.s don't post any updates of yourself in the skintight thermals please!

Jeez - 11.25 kph - I might think about getting rid of one of mine and getting that thing

Congrats
I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

Thanks Ciaran, but I've opted not to go through with the crowd funding. I've taken out a loan to pay for the peg. I was hoping to raise the money via some kind of commercial sponsorship (gillette-blades etc.) But I'm not that committed to scheduled training.
The goodwill shown on this thread was enough to convince me to go through with it.
There are many more who need the cash and it would be better spent on those in need this Christmas.

Thank you all very much.

I know. The least the prez could do is slip a few grand in the envelope.
