I hope Luke is genuinely just ill and nothing more than that.

Well, I think he was playing for either the left wing spot next week or indeed the bench, but that's gone out the window now.

More than likely it'll be a Zebo, Bowe, R.Kearney back three with McFadden 23.

I reckon Fitz would have started at 11 next week if he played well tonight, with Zebo dropping to bench.

5-0 to England

Saxons beginning to get on top. Irish need to up intensity in collisions. Passive defence so far.

11-3 to England at HT. Fairly poor stuff from Ireland considering the strength of the side

Madigan playing his way out of the 10 jersey for next week, he's been very, very bad.

D'arcy looking more and more a passenger each time I see him these days I'm very sad to say.

Great to see Seanie back, Conan having a busy game too.

Token Leinster injuries so far: McFadden & McCarthy

Ireland need to up the intensity. When England have the ball they make the gain line at will. Outside of McCarthy's poorly executed ( they did clash heads) big tackle, a decent hit by Strauss and Ryan's dump of Burgess every other tackle has been on the English player's terms.
Marmion doing okay, Madigan having a poor game. In fairness he is behind a physically beaten ( apart from set piece ) Pack but he has been indecisive and tentative. Backline in general is disjointed.

Get stuck in Ireland

Strauss carrying a shoulder going off at half time

By the way what does a busy game mean?. Are any of the Irish team having a good game. They all look busy to me.

Bad missed tackle from Earls there. That's what worries me about him at outside centre.

In fairness to him watching it again it wasn't as bad as jones in the first half but it does happen all to often though.
