RC TOULON V LEINSTER RUGBY, Marseille, Hotels
Any ideas ?, this place looks ok ?: Located in the heart of Marseille, ibis Budget Marseille Vieux Port offers a 14th-Century façade and a cocktail bar. The harbour is just a 3-minute walk away and the train station is a 25-minute walk away.

Anyone found any reasonable options for getting to Marseille?
Aer Lingus coming in at €300, no price up on JWT yet, any alternatives?

If you book by the port you can't go wrong.

going out friday and back monday - thinking of staying in Toulon for the 3 nights, anyone know how easy it is to get from Toulon to Marseilles ?
Re: RC TOULON V LEINSTER RUGBY, Marseille, Hotels
I say staying the three nights in Marseille would be a much better option than staying in Toulon. Much more to see and do in Marseille and there won't be any Leinster fans staying in Toulon(on purpose).Barry wrote:going out friday and back monday - thinking of staying in Toulon for the 3 nights, anyone know how easy it is to get from Toulon to Marseilles ?

Public online ticketing is open http://www.digitick.com/rc-toulon-leins ... 56986.html
Prices are insane, there's no chance to fill this stadium in 2 weeks with such prices. It will certainly be half empty.

1 hour and 10€ by train or by car, but I reckon you might find plenty of places in the surrounding more gorgeous than Toulon itself. Take a look at Cassis, Aix-en-Provence, La Cadière, Bandol, Hyères, Carqueiranne.... It depends a lot of what you're looking for during those 3 days.Barry wrote:going out friday and back monday - thinking of staying in Toulon for the 3 nights, anyone know how easy it is to get from Toulon to Marseilles ?

De Peretti is what we call the "north curve".
If think it is better for you to be there, because most of the fan groups of Toulon are in the south curve.

De Peretti, not DEPEROnc6000 wrote:Is it usually sunny in Section DEPERO ?
In fact, for all the stands except Jean Bouin, it depends on the height where you are seated.
If you are low, you are protected buy the roof.
if you are high, you could have the sun in your eyes.
In De Peretti, the sun will be on your right hand side, not facing you, so not embarrassing .
But take your sun glasses if you want...
Re: RC TOULON V LEINSTER RUGBY, Marseille, Hotels
Thanks, it said DEPERO on the confirmation email I got after buying the tickets.
