Avatars

Post by VGE »

Hi everybody.

Can every one describe its avatar?

Mine is a picture taken at the Airport Bewleys Hotel, when we were stuck in Dublin in December 2010.

Back from Temple Bar, 3 hours before leaving to France. Guiness Boxer, Irish socks and Tee Shirt, Christmas hat, and drunk Haka.

Au revoir.

After losing an argument on this board a fellow poster suggested that I should start a religion - a few have asked if this is st boniface - evangelist to the barbarian horde and alxo patron saint of brewers, but that's way too clever for me

EDIT: ive come to the conclusion that im the onlyon who gets the joke.

Were you perchance educated in the vicinity of Roscrea?

My avatar is my mini-me - she's very small, very round and loves to wear her Leinster jersey

Mine is my great grandfather, the result of an epigenetic acceleration project on an elm tree. A veritable rabble rouser, the John Billington of his day.

Nope, I'm a Dublin 12 boy, probably the biggest Dublin after Dublin 14 which contains Rathfarnham - which is one of the biggest places in the world

Ah okay - I just thought with your avatar being St Bernard you might have been educated by the Cistercians. I'm from D12 too by the way (well, by way of D3 and D14 - my strange parents appear to have decided that working their way DOWN the social ladder was best for their kids!!!)

My Avatar is Mt Leinster. Mount Leinster is a 796-metre high mountain that straddles the border between Counties Carlow and Wexford, in the province of Leinster.

I live no where near Mt Leinster

It has Leinster in the name, and my initials are MT

Mine disappeared - one day it wasn't there anymore.
I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

Mine is Boba Fett. Boba Fett is awesome.
Also, when I was kid I thought he was a robot, and I played prop...badly.
As an aside, Jeremy Bulloch is also awesome.

The independents from Firefly/Serenity. I was living in Connacht at the time and attending all their games. They were still smarting from the existential threat to the team and something about their attitude reminded me of Capt Mal. Can't stop the signal.

As for my name, well, that's an altogether more risqué story...
