are Claffey and Kiernan Leinster? there seems to be some debate

Leinster only contributing 14 including them a bit of a decline as is :)

and is Sam Arnold not still eligible?

Claffey and Kiernan are not. Whoever typed up list etc made a mistake.
Arnold is underage. Presume/assume ulster are holding him back to play pro12?

Sam Arnold is still eligible. Has he picked up a knock recently or have Ulster asked for him not to be selected for the 6N?
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

Don't know how bad it was but Arnold picked up a hamstring injury recently. Im not against guys like him being left out anyway, they never try as hard and dominate like you'd imagine they would.

Any predictions on how this group will do? There seems to be plenty of rated players in that group.

Irish U.20's have priority only for JWC. Personally, I always favour Ireland having priority for all games as I consider that no age-group Squad should have its opportunity for success (of that entire group) diminished by the Provincial desires to maintain their Squad strength.

Not if player is going to be involved in the match squad - makes more sense for the player to be tested in Pro 12
For example, it is possible Connacht will need Conan O'Donnell over the 6 Nations period.
He would gain more playing in these games than in an u20 game imo

Any idea if COD will be loosehead or tighthead for the 6N?

Good stuff, thanks. I'm hoping he'll be back up for White sooner rather than later. Not that he should be rushed, but the way things are going across the provinces I'm sure guys like him will be promoted before they ideally should be.

That said, don't think I've ever seen him play so I'm going purely off reputation!

Last 6 Nations our scrum evidently improved when he would come on for Oisin Heffernan

A moment that struck in my memory is Conan playing at TH in the last few minutes against Brive in Sportsground
Brive had the put in at scrum inside our 22
Side was riddled with injuries at this point
We'd a back row of Dave Heffernan (hooker), Sean O'Brien and Ronan Loughney (prop) at 8 with a second row of George Naoupu (an 8) and Danny Qualter
Everyone sensed a demolition at the scrum - Conan held his own and we won a penalty

I've also seen Cillian Gallagher play- he is huge, very good player

Don't know anything really about Stephen Kerins or Connor Kenny

EDIT: wait i do recognise Kenny, he propped few times for Eagles

That all sounds promising. I see Bealham was called up to the full squad too, fair play to him.
