Great start to the new season already underway.Looks like the same old teams from last year up there with Garryowen also.Good to see Mick Mc Grath back scoring tries...5 in three games and 3 for his brother.Some fine rugby played in perfect conditions on Saturday afternoon in Castle Avenue.Hinch did not look to far off it to be honest and I would expect to see them move up the table

Clontarf, Lansdowne & Garryowen all unbeaten at the moment in 1a with Belvo also looking strong. 4th game of league before a break coming up this weekend and should give a good indication as to who the main contenders are but Young Munster & Hinch not going well while Cork Con will be disappointed with their start.

Blackrock & Wesley going well in 1b. Wesley who have recruited hugely again this season would be my favorites for promotion

Dolphin 3 Trinity 44.

Trinity well coached and conditioned. Good continuity play and passing. Almost like watching a Southern Hemisphere team playing a Six Nations team.

Ref was Frank Murphy, ex UCC, Cork Con, Leicester & Connacht. He did a good job.

Yeah with the demise of Dolphin Con get the pick of players in Cork, a big pool to choose from and with all the players in Limerick GYM & Garryowen get all the good pickings as well at the moment. Swings and roundabouts as used to be the other way around.

Personally would like to see a Munster club win it this season and think YM might just do that

A great day,s entertainment for 10 euro and a great win for Tarf but all credit to Con for a great game and comeback.after all the final defeats it,s great to finally win it through the playoffs.Well done Tarf so delighted!

Joey Carbery and O'Brien are emerging as two mid-field Club players with the ability to play senior Professional rugby.

Carbery and Quinlan shared the Irish U.20 jersey at JWC in Italy last summer, after Byrne withdrew late. They should both be given pro game time next season as both are developing well, without the benefit of early hype or high-profile schools careers.

Have to agree..was a bit unsure of Carbery earlier in the season but his form of late has been outstanding.Superb yesterday but also in the Semi against UCD where he showed Ross Byrne a thing or two

Great game and a super advertisement for the League. A few on both sides could be considered serious prospects including MOTM Carbery.

Been extremely good for Tarf this season...still quite young and a really really strong bloke...was with Leinster under 20's and ex Belvo
