Yep same here it was a bit of a gamble but this is going to be what I might do every year from now on, used to always go to the H Cup Final no matter but have lost interest. Really looking forward to the few days in Embra now regardless of who gets through. Anyone know where it might be next year ?. Studio Flaminio would be a good size and a great place to visit again love Rome at this time of year.

They're planning bus trips to the final and where the big screen should be set up in Galway to show it.

Just the teeny tiny technical point that they're not in the final. Yet.
And what? They're running on a high and have really energised the city and province, it's fantastic.

And given they've got a bit ahead of themselves and bought up tons of flights i'd suggest that's why the price has skyrocketed in past few days.

What Connacht has done is fantastic and if they do win their semi I'll be in Edinburgh supporting them. Never said there was anything wrong with it.

more to do with fact Leinster played last night and waiting to book flights until after game this evening would have seen flights at astronomical prices after Leinster fans started booking them! Flights I booked last Tuesday are €250 more expensive this morning.

Needless to say. Both Aer Lingus & Ryanair prices next weekend have gone nuts with limited availability to both Edinburgh & Glasgow. Happy that I booked flights & accommodation last March.

Went for E9. Waited for our allocation. Glad I did because the options weren't great when I looked at it 3 months ago

Looks like there's still accommodation available here. Booked Pollock halls a few weeks back. Reasonable enough price.

Flights from Belfast to Glasgow sorted for 145. Apartment in Edinburgh sorted for 765 for 6 people (127 each). Not too bad all things considered. Certainly beats the JWT offer of 425 for a day trip!

Really disappointed to see Leinster Rugby promoting this so heavily. I appreciate jets are not cheap to hire but €425 seems excessive by anyone's standards. The taxes being charged are more than I paid for my flight

Will have to roar on the lads from home I'm afraid  Well done to all those who gambled early and got reasonable flights and accommodation. Rest your voices this week though

Tickets for Sale - Face value

Post by raven »

Hi folks,

As a disappointed Ulster fan I have 6 tickets for sale for the final at Murrayfield.

Excellent seats - two sets of three:

Guinness Pro12 Final - Edinburgh 2016 · BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh · Saturday, 28 May 2016

Section Row Seat Type Value
E7 N 5 Adult £45.00
E7 N 4 Adult £45.00
E7 N 3 Adult £45.00

W15 GG 19 Adult £45.00
W15 GG 18 Adult £45.00
W15 GG 17 Adult £45.00

The tickets are in hand, and I will sell at face value. I'd rather sell them in 3s rather than splitting them up if possible.

Great to see an all Irish final. As a neutral I will relax and enjoy it.

All the best,

Raven

I have accommodation booked in Edinburgh for Sat night for 4 people (one large room) cost £233 for the room . Its St. Bernard's guesthouse which is pretty central. I booked it on Booking.com and will cancel by end of today if no takers from Leinsterfan. Let me know if you want to take over this booking.

Yeah. I was disappointed with that. I was supposed to be on shift working for this weekend but i've now got a chance to be off but the prices are too crazy. JWT price and ticket on top brings it to €500 for a day trip and that's just too damn much.
Kinda surprised that Are Lingus or Ryanair didn't increase capacity (plane size or whatever) on the Edinburgh route for the Saturday as the potential extra business they could get from the day trip market could be substantial. Also, the "official airline partner to Leinster Rugby" can't seem to get any aircraft directed to Edinburgh for a day trip!
Real pity!!!
On the up side, some pub in Dublin is gonna see their profit margin soar on Saturday!
