Guaranteed at least a playoff and automatic qualification is a real possibility. That's a lot better than most people were hoping for.

Well done Martin o'Neill. Well done Long and McCarthy and O'Shea and Keogh and Randolfe and Christie and Hoolahan and Walters and Brady and Ward and Hendrick.

At last, we have a team again we can remember and know where the play and howthey refuse to be beaten.

Gutsy performance and capped by a magnificent goal, but I've still no idea how Germany managed to throw that away. I've never seen a team give up so much space on the wings as we did last night. MON really got away with one.

I actually got a dis-oriented watching that game. The Bosnian lads were invisible for most of that 2nd half, as was the ball. 1-1 good result.

A salute to Robbie Keane on his retirement from International football. 68 goals says it all really. Thank you Robbie. :happy clapper: :happy clapper: :happy clapper:

And its good night Vienna!
Excellent performance, well excellent result anyway. Arguably our best away competitive result for some time. This team is actually, slowly, getting better and better.

Seems like it was a player revolt. Hard to think that a manager good enough to win the league one year wouldn't be good enough to avoid relegation the next.

Barca 6-1 PSG (Agg: 6-5) What a dramatic game, Barca score in 88th, 91st and 95th min to go through. Incredible scenes. Neymar is a sensational player.
Actually Barca were not that good, still below they're amazing best. PSG just froze and gave them chance after chance. Still though the game will go down in history as the greatest sporting comeback since the 2011 Heino final.
