Tadhg Beirne played all 80 for scarlets at the weekend against Toulon.

Fair play to him. 22-21 win. That is some achievement for him to stand up against the Toulon pack for 80 minutes:

Re: Ex-Leinster players
Brendan Macken seems to be doing well at Wasps, getting plenty of gametime in a position where they have a lot of depth.

Playing him at 12 was daft even without playing Wynand Olivier outside him

Shows the difference in media training. Reid makes Te'o sympathetic and does a great job of defending him.El Diablo wrote:Ben Teo not too happy at Worcester.....

Handles his own situation very well and says all the right things all the time.
Te'o comes across as unlikeable even though he's probably a really decent guy.

Re: Ex-Leinster players
Hard to disagree with what he's saying but he should be saying it in the dressing room not in the press. Very happy with the Henshaw Tep trade to be honest and I don't think he's the type of player Joe likes either.El Diablo wrote:Ben Teo not too happy at Worcester.....

Re: Ex-Leinster players
I didn't see all the Wasps Toulouse game but in the scrums I did see Marty Moore and the Wasps scrum appeared to be under a lot of pressure. I didn't see much evidence that he will be back challenging for an Irish place anytime soon.
Tadhg Beirne part of another great performance by Scarlets. They were only seconds away from beating Saracens but a draw is still a good result. Perhaps they are finally getting there act together in the Valleys.

While we seem to use the phrase "The Valleys" to mean Wales in general. The Valleys are all south east Wales. Mainly east of Cardiff. The Scarlets are west Wales. [/pedantry]

You are reading your map wrong. The Valleys are mainly North West/North/North East of Cardiff. The Bristol Channel is to the East. My map is fine. The valleys are in south Wales Not south of Cardiff. Cornwall is south of Cardiff.Hornet wrote:You are reading your map wrong. What I actually said was.....
See. It makes sense if you put a bit of distance between each sentence.johng wrote: The Valleys are all south east Wales.
Mainly east of Cardiff. (as some would say that Swansea Valley should be included which is west of Cardiff)
The Scarlets are west Wales.

As someone who has been up the Rhondda on my Honda, I'll stick with my directions. Don't want to end up on the Aust Ferry like Bob Dylan.johng wrote:My map is fine. Re: Ex-Leinster players
I see Sam Coughlan Murray and Harrison Brewer were out for Terenure at the weekend. Brewer was playing backrow too.
Does this mean their venture in Pro rugby is officially at an end?
Also, wasn't Brewer a Marys man?
Jason Harris-Wright was packing down at hooker for Tarf too.
