Flags

Post by IanD »

Folks

I have to do a few running repairs on my big flag and am a bit short on individual flags. So if anyone has any spare flags (regadless of size colour etc) at home can you please bring them along tomorrow night.

I can meet up before or after the match to collect.

Cheers Ian

Nope. None.

Have jumped through hoops to get arrangements for the Aviva so really hoping to get sorted.

Surely the OLSC could sort you out? As a matter of interest about how many are you looking for?

I need 3 or 4 for repairs.

If I got around 20 I could make a new flag thus avoiding the repairs. More flags would mean I could make it bigger too.

I will contact the OLSC if required but I was hoping that people would have unused older flags with different designs sizes or colours at home I could use.

I'll see what I have at home, may have a few.

What's your address? I will drop in during the night and take the flags off the wall. Sure what could go wrong?

Wait. What? You've made a flag into some undercrackers that you're wearing?

I'd love to be able to help but our flags are heavily autographed and so beloved it's more than my life's worth to give them away.

I'd miss my flag if I didn't have it - Darce, Shaggy, BOD, Dr. Phil, Nathan Hines, Stan Wright, Girve, Hago et al would be hugely missed. And the same goes for Nicola's 'hot players' flag. She was a very young teenager when she named it that but it contains a history of her teenage crushes - Eoin O'Malley, Pauley O'Donoghue, Lukey, Dippy, Brendan Macken and Mads (oh and Tommy Bowe!!!) being just a few of those who were deemed worthy of being invited to sign

It's funny but I hadn't realised quite how much our flags meant to us until I started thinking of getting rid of them.

If you're still searching, I had a quick look last night & have at least 2 of the blue silk flags they leave out in the Aviva and 1 of the bigger Blue & Yellow like in your pic. pm me with contact details if you want them and we'll organize collection. Don't have them with me in office today.
