Felipe was the most brilliant foreign player to ever play for Leinster. He was also on occasion, one of the worst, and that was the problem.
in 05/06 we won nothing because we had a sh!t pack.

No, we didn't have a sh!t pack, we had an okay pack - not spectacular or dominant, but far from sh!t. It was a pack that was able to go to the Rec and Toulouse and hold its own, it was able to hold its own against Munster in the RDS on NYE 05.

We had Holwell in Kidneys season in fairness - we also had the Irish centre partnership

Surely you mean RWC 1999 and in any case D'Arcy debuted for Leinster before it.

As a pedant I'd have to note that the first time D'Arcy and O'Driscoll played together in the centre for Leinster was post-6N in 2004 and saw Leinster lose 51-20 away to Llanelli. D'Arcy's initial move to centre for Leinster was as a replacement for Drico who was injured in a HEC match at home to Sale in January 2004. It was Eddie O'Sullivan who first partnered them in the centre for a 6N game v Wales in Feb 2004.

Have to say, ISA II is just as good as ISA I. Incredible player. Contender for Leinster's greatest ever player. Ledge, cult-hero, gentleman.
There will have to be a party when he eventually packs it all in, just like there was for the Doctor. Remember that?
"I love you Felipe" says a starstruck lady in the crowd. "You're not the only one luv" replies the lad with the mic onstage.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Yeah, great article, read it earlier today. Was wondering why he came back, what was the story with his family and all that, but this answers all those questions.
Interesting line, "“They’re very positive leaders, and in that respect Zane Kirchner has been outstanding, and how he’s helped to mentor some of the younger guys. "
Thank you side-show. I really hope things go well for him with the dragons.

IIRC D'Arcy debuted for Leinster at FB.
EOS selected him at centre cos there was no one else.
He'd run out of options.
D'Arcy played 13 (brilliantly so I might add) for Ireland when the great one was injured.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.
