Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens
its like when they broke up The Shield in the WWE
think also the English players go full time/leave school earlier than Irish counterparts so theyre further along the (screening) process
but
said this before but the % of England internationals who played u20 for England is a good bit lower than Irish equivalent
Update
Sale have sacked Tom Arscott

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens
Northampton are playing Bedford Blues in Bedford tonight to make up for the gap in Bedfords fixture schedule left by London Welsh. We give the English clubs some stick but it's great to see one local club looking after another.

I'm a bit behind the curve. I absented myself from the board for a few days whilst 'issues' were being ironed out with some threads.blockhead wrote:What a scoop domhnalj!domhnallj wrote:Matt O'Connor returns as head coach of Leicester????

No it was Mike Williams. He had a photo of Mauger and a few players and the comment was "we've lost a good man".

PRL flying kites like billy-o today
Currie Cup sides to join Anglo Welsh cup; would mean scarpping Vodacom Cup they currently play in while super rugby is on and an way match in that would probably cost best part of €100k to field a team
And theyve gotten their shorter Lions tour but are basically angling for a North v South Ryder Cup style thing instead. If that doesnt make you puke as a rugby fan.... not to mention lack of viability

I hope the naked thing and the "interrupting a skills co-ordination workshop for children" thing were two separate things.

Back to the good old days of traditional old rugby antics, it's pretty positive that some traditions have remained in the professional era.simonokeeffe wrote:well its still a step up for the club from goldfish bowls full of cocaine
