Good timing for Munster/IRFU if Rassie's out the gap. Himself & Faz Sr are best mates.

This is a bit controversial, but I feel much more permissive in my attitude to players using corticosteroids (that have zero anabolic effect and which you can get a TUE for where necessary) than anabolic androgenic steroids. The media does not understand steroids/wants to sensationalise every case of suspected doping. Getting a cortisone injection to control inflammation is something several members of my family have done to control allergy symptoms and once for tendonitis. It really isn't that big of a deal and that's why it's allowed with a TUE.

Taking anabolic steroids (dianabol, testosterone injections etc) is a different kettle of fish entirely obviously.

Yes but I think there's a player welfare issue- corticosteroid injections here and there are one thing. Corticosteroids being persistently used to allow a player to keep going through an injury that really needs rest is a different thing. If you don't let injuries heal they generally just get worse. Not like the Top14 are known for looking after their players or anything.

That's perfectly fair but then people start calling it 'unfair advantage', 'cheating', 'performance enhacing' etc, and I don't think it's any of those things, except maybe cheating, and purely because it's against the rules (at least, when there's no TUE).

Just watched a totally ridiculous finish to La Rochelle v Montpelier. I won't spoil it by putting up score. Well worth warching last 20 mins if you can get a stream.

I spoil.
40/16 to 40/37 in ten minutes. The last unallowed try could have put Montpellier at the second place.

Montferrand in SF if we beat La Rochelle next week.
Au revoir.

Costly to buy him out of his 3 year deal I'd say.

Yeah, he has 2 years left on it. Apparently Altrad is partially behind it.
