Re: Leinster A 2016-17
Such a shame, they were good last night, really enjoyed the game. The away game last week in Nottingham was their undoing. They are a good squad and I suppose that the mixing of players with the senior team has actually cost the A team. Not bothered at all as it is for the greater good of the club.
Re: Leinster A 2016-17
Playing 2 fixtures against Ulster A, this friday in Belfast then return game in Dublin next week.
Re: Leinster A 2016-17
That home game will clash with some important AIL matches next week.goreyguy wrote:Playing 2 fixtures against Ulster A, this friday in Belfast then return game in Dublin next week.

I wonder if Rhys Ruddock is surplus to requirements for Saturday would he be asked to captain the A team. Is Dominic Ryan injured at the minute?goreyguy wrote:Team should be named today.. guessing something like this:

Worst case scenario Ruddock would travel as injury cover.El Diablo wrote:I wonder if Rhys Ruddock is surplus to requirements for Saturday would he be asked to captain the A team. Is Dominic Ryan injured at the minute?goreyguy wrote:Team should be named today.. guessing something like this:

Timmins has captained them to good affect this season hasn't he?El Diablo wrote: I wonder if Rhys Ruddock is surplus to requirements for Saturday would he be asked to captain the A team. Is Dominic Ryan injured at the minute?

I see Greg Jones named on the Ulster side. This move was rumoured but didn't realise it had been confirmed. Will be interesting to see Porter vs Jones as they played on the same Andrew's team that got to the SCT semi's in 2014!El Diablo wrote:Ulster team named....

Re: Leinster A 2016-17
Finlay is a club player from trinity.
Tim Murphy is a under-19... moved to scrumhalf from centre this season while in sub academy. Seems to be rated.
Richard Dunne is another under-19, was a surprise omission from ireland u19 squad.
The rest are all academy/senior or ireland u20s
