Such a shame, they were good last night, really enjoyed the game. The away game last week in Nottingham was their undoing. They are a good squad and I suppose that the mixing of players with the senior team has actually cost the A team. Not bothered at all as it is for the greater good of the club.

That home game will clash with some important AIL matches next week.

I wonder if Rhys Ruddock is surplus to requirements for Saturday would he be asked to captain the A team. Is Dominic Ryan injured at the minute?

Worst case scenario Ruddock would travel as injury cover.

Ryan was injured last I heard.

I see Greg Jones named on the Ulster side. This move was rumoured but didn't realise it had been confirmed. Will be interesting to see Porter vs Jones as they played on the same Andrew's team that got to the SCT semi's in 2014!

Sean Cronin on the bench for Leinster A tomorrow, as is Peter Dooley. Kearney and Nagle in the second row. Quite a few names I'm not familiar with in the 23.

Leinster ‘A’ team v Ulster ‘A’

15. Billy Dardis
14. Hugo Keenan
13. Conor O’Brien
12. Tom Daly
11. Barry Daly
10. Cathal Marsh
9. Tim Murphy
1. Ed Byrne
2. Paddy Finlay
3. Andrew Porter
4. Mick Kearney
5. Ian Nagle
6. Peadar Timmins CAPTAIN
7. Will Connors
8. Max Deegan

Replacements

16. Seán Cronin
17. Peter Dooley
18. Oisín Heffernan
19. Oisín Dowling
20. Richard Dunne
21. Ciaran Frawley
22. Jack Power
23. Jordan Larmour
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

Finlay is a club player from trinity.
Tim Murphy is a under-19... moved to scrumhalf from centre this season while in sub academy. Seems to be rated.
Richard Dunne is another under-19, was a surprise omission from ireland u19 squad.

The rest are all academy/senior or ireland u20s

Lansdowne, yes ex-Newbridge. Was with Leinster u19 last summer as a 12.
