It's unclear. I pay the Homer tax though.

Saw that and came here looking for another (more reliable) source.
Seems farcical based on the clip. I hope they appeal.

Confirmed now by Leinster - if they appeal can he play on Sunday?

Drat. Previous appeals have come with requests to lift the suspension. Pro12 full rules are not available online though.

Ballsax. That's a stitch up. I hope they've made that decision based on more than the camera angle in the highlights.

Step up Peter Dooley.

Bent to 17 and Rossy to 18? Or is that too much of a slap in the face to Dooley. I'm not sure I trust him against a Clermont scrum
He's gotten awfully fond of that brick

Dooley hasn't put a foot wrong all season. He's impressed on every appearance. If it transpires that Clermont can't field Zirikaschvili they're down to their second and third tight heads, while with Jack and Dooley we could field our first and third loose heads. I'd go for it. Assuming McGrath didn't ship an injury, Dooley would only have to play 20 minutes. On the basis of his outings thus far and how he goes about his business, I'd trust him to carry out the task required.

Is there more video evidence on this decision? Seems outrageous from the match clip.

Thought Dooley was outstanding last season. He's been quieter this one.
I hope we appeal and a request lifting the suspension. Unless there is other footage, it is hard to see how the incident would have even merited a yellow, let alone a red.

A poor reflection

It's a quote from Anchorman used to highlight the ridiculousness of the statement. Stop fishing for offence and get back under your bridge.

Can anyone explain how the f**k that is a penalty let alone a red card offence! Was there another angle? Thats looks like a great clearout to me. The Connacht player doesn't bat an eyelid let alone protest! Bizarre decision!
