Clubs could have made an agreement to change kickoff. In many of the division 2 playoffs the clubs involved made agreements to change kickoff time so isnt just irfu at fault
Re: All Ireland League - Thread
IRFU set times they are the managers of the game and failed miserably on this occasion, you lost this argument on another forum so lets not get into hear. Was anyone at the 1A semi finals? I presume the turnout was terrible.Armchair wrote:IRFU set times they are the managers of the game and failed miserably on this occasion, you lost this argument on another forum so lets not get into hear. Anyone going to the final tomorrow? Clontarf V Con, only a tenner to get in, U-18s free with an adult. Some good players on show.
You know I'm going to lose,

But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Mike Ross packing down in the front row in Ulster Bank League Division 2C games is a safety risk? Discuss.
Re: All Ireland League - Thread
Fair play to him. Excuse my ignorance but what club? How did it go?future international wrote:Mike Ross packing down in the front row in Ulster Bank League Division 2C games is a safety risk? Discuss.

Against Bective. In fairness to him he would have the sense not to kill anyone.
Still a scary thought.

That's an extraordinary result in Terenure. Beat Cork Con 39-35. Must have crossed wires with Basketball scorelines.
Re: All Ireland League - Thread
Joe Schmidt’s son Tim bagged the bonus point try for Terenure College as they won their Dublin derby with St Mary’s College to continue their excellent start to the new Ulster Bank League season.

Cracking game in the UCD Bowl this evening:
UCD 22 Marys 23
Marys just a point ahead and only a few minutes left when Conor Dean conjured up a perfect cross field kick for Myles Carey to touch down just in play. Brilliant conversion by Sean Kearns which was just as well as UCD scored under the posts with the last play. Andrew Porter and Jeremy Loughman both carried well but Marys came up with some big turnovers and used the breeze well.
Great atmosphere. Lets hope we get as good a game tomorrow in the Aviva!

Terenure stay top with another excellent defensive performance against Garryowen and great opportunistic scoring by Mark O'Neill.

Trinity also bagged a Leinster win over Munster opposition in Div 1A as they got their 1st win of the season down in Young Munster. Vital points in a season that will probably be a struggle.

Heard Silvester, Dunne and Courtney were very good for Trinity.
Any idea how Sheehan & Byrne went in front row?

With Leinster on late Saturday this weekend perhaps a great opportunity to get along and support a local club or an AIL team. Here are the Div 1A clashes this weekend including 2 Dublin derbies on Friday night:
Fri 27th Oct 19:30 Div1A Clontarf v Terenure College Castle Avenue
Fri 27th Oct 19:30 Div1A St Mary's College v Lansdowne Templeville Road
Sat 28th Oct 14:30 Div1A Buccaneers v Dublin University Dubarry Park
Sat 28th Oct 14:30 Div1A Cork Constitution v Young Munster Temple Hill
Sat 28th Oct 14:30 Div1A Garryowen v UCD Dooradoyle
I see the IRFU have put up brief highlights of the UCD Marys game from the last round on the Friday 6th Oct. Some future stars of Leinster Rugby on show. Watch out for Conor Dean's peach of a cross field kick and Carey's touchdown to ultimately seal the win for Marys. Great match and a taste of what is on offer in Div 1A.

One of my friends was playing against Malahide, he said Ross came off the bench and they refused to scrum against him.future international wrote:Mike Ross packing down in the front row in Ulster Bank League Division 2C games is a safety risk? Discuss.
