Game of 2 halves as they say, 1st half we were very poor and 2nd best by a long way, need better options than Moreno a quality left back is badly needed, defensively midfield was a worry and overran in 1st half. end of 1st half Phil C was brilliant and scored a wonder free kick at a great time. 2nd half was brilliant viewing at 4-1 we should have been better and closed out the game at 4-3 we were hanging on. The good the bad and the ugly all on show yesterday but a great game to watch. If we added a left back and another quality defensive midfielder we wouldn't be far off top 3/4 this season. We can certainly score goals but conceding them is our biggest problem worst in league last season and by yesterdays performance could be much the same this season. New centre back look s decent and will definitely do a job he was reassuring and calm done his job well. So it begins!!

Was hoping that the defensive midfielder might be Can but I'm beginning to wonder if Herr Klopp likes having one? Henderson doesn't fit the bill anyway.

Yeah Can looked decent towards the end of the last season in that role not sure why Klopp isn't starting him, totally agree re Henderson very average player

Was walking the dog through the second half and was kept up to date on the score by the shouts from different neighborhood houses as Liverpool scored. Has to be one of the best nights in Liverpool's history?

Anyhoo, I'm a Spurs fan, but I was genuinely delighted for Liverpool fans last night.
