He is a very good rugby player, but i'm not sure what one aspect of backrow play he does at an elite level, he probably should have moved to hooker a few years ago if he wanted a long leinster career, but he might be too tall to play there.CiaranIrl wrote:Pretty difficult to see how Tinmins could forge a career at Leinster to be honest. If you didn't know who those lads were it'd be impossible to know what positions they are, guessing that Nick is a scrumhalf is the only one I'd be sure of.

Carberry only did one year. You need at least 3 to graduate.mildlyinterested wrote:Difference between graduating academy program and moving to a senior contract.the spoofer wrote:

He was of similar height to Jonny Gray(6'6) when standing next to him in the glasgow game.

Re: Academy 2016/2017
This a small group of big men with their smaller colleague.
Adam Byrne is definitely 6'4" and Tom Daly slightly taller. Ross Molony is taller than either. Ross Byrne is almost as tall as Adam. Peader Timmins is also 6'3" and should move to hooker and have an 8-year pro career with Ireland. Not too late yet.
They are also reputedly a very bright group with a couple of engineers and another couple doing Masters
Good luck lads, you've certainly raised the bar for Academy rugby graduates

There's a clear slope from right to left. If Molony were on the hill, he'd look much taller.

Jaysus. We're not far off lads born in 2000 playing for Leinster. Now there's a depressing thought.
