He's way too quick with giving holding on penalties. I hate referees with a fetish for that penalty. Ruins the attacking flow and continuity of the game, incentivises booting the ball away.

In a phase of play where he could have penalised a Scarlets player for tripping the 9, or a Scarlets player from sealing off the ball, Mitrea chooses to ignore these to penalise Leinster.

Yet again this season a biased referee is deciding the outcome not only of a match, but a tournament.

Very poor performance and a worrying continuum of mediocrity from the Ulster and to a lesser extent Clermont games. Wasted the home final opportunity. Scarlets attacked very well in the first half but I honestly don't believe they were particularly good or heroic defensively in the second half, and that's not being churlish, we were just so poor.
