Id be fairly certain they'll get an NIQ.simonokeeffe wrote:Erasmus confirms theyre after a second row, and a "solid" one at that, but not sure if they can get an NIQ one
also says they want a prop and a backrower but they have to be IQ
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

Ryan out Triggs in would not be a trade I'd want to make if I were a Munster fan!Dave Cahill wrote:Triggs?

If they need an Irish back row, it could be Ryan out, Ryan in.
Don't think it's that likely though.

Re: Munster 2016-2017
Maybe it is unlikely, but Dom Ryan would be exactly what Munster need in the backrow. He could play 6 when O'Mahony is injured or with Ireland and O'Callaghan is injured or needed in the second row. And there's not much depth behind Oliver and O'Donnell at openside, so maybe he could fill in there a bit as well. Might sound as if that would put him quite far down the pecking order, but Deysel got a fair amount of gametime playing a similar roleronk wrote:If they need an Irish back row, it could be Ryan out, Ryan in.

You might be right but I'd suspect he might go over to the England. I don't think he'd fancy Munster in those circumstances.

If I was Ryan I'd want to go to a club where I was getting as much gametime as possible. Somewhere like a Worchester or Pau which would pay a bundle and you'd get a good amount of gametime.

I'd say the Scarlets opened the curtains this morning and just wanted to go back to bed. The conditions massively favour Munster IMO. Hope they do it, it'd be some achievement after the season they've had and how things were over the last couple of seasons.

Re: Munster 2016-2017
Munster deserve a trophy. They topped the league.
Obviously for the sentimental reasons I wish them the best today. That said it would probably be better for the league if the recent run of less fancied teams winning continued. Munster haven't won a trophy in six years, Scarlets in 13.
