Agreed. I think himself and Kearney are very similar, it's just that Kearney has been carrying an injury and been out of form. Hard to know what our second row situation will look like in a year but I don't envisage Beirne being needed here really, I'd imagine Munster and Ulster would have a greater need for him. If he does leave the Scarlets then it should be for somewhere where he knows he'll play all the time.
