Conroy is rapid, not seen an Irish player with that kind out stop end speed before. He doesn't seem to have the best rugby brain, but he is big and quick so hopefully it will come.

Yep, as mentioned, it's on the Rugby Europe website. Ireland have looked like the best team across the 3 events so far, and that is against the 1st team of Spain and Russia, 2 World Series teams. It shows that the depth is there to put out a competitive team in 7s. It's another event to support Ireland in, so happy days.
Even though it's a year out, we should be targeting a win the HK qualifer. Japan, Germany, Chile and Hong Kong themselves will likely be the main challengers.
That's not Spain's first choice squad. Unlikely to be Russia's either.
The gap between Series teams and those trying to qualify is huge. Japan will go into Hong Kong as favourites.
Germany were impressive last year and just ran out of steam in the final.
But this is 7s so anything can and usually does happen.
I'm fairly certain it is for Spain and Russia, not too sure who is missing. Well that is speaking more for Russia than Spain. It would be insane if it isn't though, there is qualification for the 7s World Cup at stake.

Only 7 of the Spanish squad for Clermont played in the Hong Kong qualifier. Many of their most experienced players weren't there including their captain. I'm not sure why (injuries etc).
I don't know that much about Russia but given the length of the season I would very much doubt that's their strongest team.
Qualifying for the Tier 1 Sevens circuit is definitely achievable for this group at the Hong Kong sevens. Very important going forward with rugby growing globally and an olympic sport.

This semi final is showing us once again the big problem in Irish rugby, with all the possession and territory we have diddly squat on the score board and Russia from 3 attack's have 3 try's.

Hmmm, don't forget the teams that aren't a part of the World Series ironically have stronger squads out than the rest. Ireland looking good though. All to play for tomorrow.
I've said it before but Germany were very unlucky not to qualify for the Series this season (Spain getting there instead).
