We remain fourth in World rankings as at end of March 2017. But......during the past 5 months we have beaten those three countries ranked above us.
So, let's remember the next time we enter a Competition that we should follow the advice of EO'S, "I learned that you must play with your heart in the fire and your head in the fridge"

Penny (large old penny) dropping with loud clang - so that's what pashun is! - A fair bit of it on show yesterday against England mind you.

We get v little(possibly nothing) because we are so far ahead of them. Ditto Wales and I think Australia who were also at home (so italy don't really lose any points either). Scotland will lose 2 points and Fiji get 2 points I think.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014 Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles
Scotland drop to 5th (-1.43) with SA moving up a place to 6th. Ireland +.3, Wales +.28. No change.

Fiji pick up points which brings them closer to Argentina who are 9th. Scotland drop to 6th behind South Africa. Australia get nothing for beating Italy and stay 4th. Wales and Ireland pick up a small increase in pts which keeps them 7th and 3rd respectively.

If they beat Argentina by more than 15 points this weekend (unlikely but possible) they'll go ahead of us. However, if they lose they will drop to 5th behind Australia and Argentina will climb to 8th
As unlikely as the results may be we could actually end this weekend in 5th place

Screw beating New Zealand & England, beating Argentina & France makes you much more deserving of 3rd.... Really going to be rooting for Australia in 2 weeks.
