Last update said Ringrose expected back in October so he has every chance
What I heard is October is best case scenario i.e every goes right. I do hope he isn't back but don't want to get my hopes up until we get closer to the date.
EDIT - Holy f*ck huge mess up on my part, I meant that hope he *is* back not isnt.
England and France delaying the start of their Six Nations campaigns by a week is one of several proposals being discussed by the Rugby Football Union. The Aviva Premiership clubs have tabled an idea that would see only Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Italy open the tournament. England and France would then join for round two before facing each other in the third round, which since 2000 has been a rest weekend. The motivation behind the idea is to limit interruptions to the domestic league season by reducing the length of the Six Nations from an Anglo-French perspective from seven to six weeks. It is understood the matter has been loosely examined by the RFU - alongside other proposals - as part of the wider negotiations over the new global season which begins in 2020. Even if Twickenham favoured the idea, it would still need to be approved by the Six Nations committee. The Six Nations have declined to comment on the matter.
More meddling from the PRL.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!
Tighter schedule for English and French and likely hood of players being released later surely would benefit us? (Would be the first step on a messy slope though)

PRL and UKIP should just merge at this stage
Maybe RFU pulled a fast one and proposed it wothout consultation to ensure it had zero support and maintain primacy of intrnational game/assert dominance over PRL

Realistically they didn't have to vote against it, there was never any risk it would pass. PRL played themselves pretty bad here. Piece of piss really.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014 Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

Aren't the French going down or thinking of going down the central contracts route?

Yes. It undermines the tournament. The real goal is to weaken the 6N so club rugby can be the biggest game in town
They wont parachute Zebo in with no match fitness and I dont think hes pivotal enough to get Fiji as a warm up/get away with missing a big chunk of the camp just to play him v Arg
I think TOH has fallen down the order for a bit and Carbery has been at 15 for us for a reason. Plus Ireland play far better with a second playmaker and TOH doesnt bring that
Murphy will probably bench if SOB misses any of the big 2 but cant see him leapfrogging so many to start. Big call is whether Stander starts at 6 or 8, dont think Conan has done enough just yet to start

I see from the Indo today that POM must be appointed captain because of Reggiegate. I might be wrong but somehow I don't see Joe deciding on his captain on the basis of a (losing) post match interview
