To be fair we do talk it up as if it's a big deal. And it really isn't. The climate here (particularly on the East coast, and particularly in Dublin where it rains less than the rest of the country) is basically no big deal. Yes we have winter. It's rarely cold. Summer could be nicer, but it's never forbidding.

Lots of cities have fairly short windows in which they are bearable rather than eyeball freezingly cold or old people killingly hot.

We just whinge about ours like it's some kind of punishment from god.

Winter is coming and expect him to kick ass now that he is up north.
If we are 10 points down in Bilbao, we can ask his Auntie Danny to scorch the Saracens boys with her little pets :D

I thought he would have made the bench for the Dragons game. The Super Rugby season finished in August (as far as I know) so surely he's well rested by now.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Can see why he's being managed

Chiefs had 15 Super Rugby games, and according to stats on one website he played 1212 minutes (80+minutes per game) Tasman had 10 games in the Mitre10 Cup, so assume he played all of those too, so has 25 games under his belt since February.

Well yes but we're nearly into December and we only have him for 2 years. I'm thinking it's more that he hasn't learnt the plays rather than that he's poorly conditioned.
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us

Whats important is that he is available for selection for RWC2019 - everything else is secondary.

Well he wont be Irish qualified by then. Didn't you hear - everything we do now is about the Rugby World Cup despite us not even having to pretend we give a shite about it anymore!

Eddie '"put the ball up the jumper, BOD" O'Sullivan reckons signing James Lowe was a poor move for us:
"Looking at the logjam that Leinster have, I wonder why James Lowe was brought in at all .... It’s a funny signing in that if you’re a young winger at Leinster, you’d wonder where your future lies"

http://www.punditarena.com/rugby/smcmah ... ames-lowe/

He has a point, but in fairness, Isa, D.Kearney and McFadden are getting on in age, Barry Daly isn't a spring chicken and our only real 'prospects for the future' at the moment are Adam Byrne and Jordan Larmour (whose a fullback).

He also states that, because he's not an AB with 50 caps, he's not going to bring anything into the team; in terms of development. From what I've seen so far, hes got more wing-play savvy (especially going into contact) than anything we've ever had... I feel like all the players will learn off him.
