Yeah that's got good info too. Thanks. Seems very different to the post above if that's the implication? Not sure I get the inferences.

I'm in that Fan Club. Really great and objective research, particularly of non-Leinster players.

BTW, do you know if Dalton is the son of former Malone great (and slightly mad) Malone 2nd / back-row 'Dinky' Dalton? Centre Curtis is also a son of former Irish centre.

Interesting.

I'll take a pure guess on the team.
1. Duggan
2. Kelleher
3. Aungier
4. Dalton
5. Dunne
6. Masterson
7. Kearney
8. J O'Sullivan

9. H O'Sullivan
10. Byrne
11. P Sullivan
12. McCarthy
13. T O'Brien Capt
14. Keane
15. Silvester

As you'd expect there are some big physical players in the French team (https://www.sixnationsrugby.com/en/u20/ ... _squad.php).

Probably a fair call there, think Duggan may be at risk, but could get the nod due to experience, same with Keane.

I'd be surprised if Stewart doesn't start at 9.

Masterson is injured. I heard a rumour that Aaron Hall, O'Sullivan and Mattie Dalton will be the backrow. Obviously that opens ups a 2nd row opportunity, perhaps Charlie Ryan?? He has played very little rugby since the 2017 SCT so it would be amazing if they pitched him straight in away to France!

I'd be very surprised if it was Ryan, Cormac Daly has been excellent for Clontarf this year so him and Dunne or maybe Dunne and Ronan Coffey.

Is Charlie Ryan the fella who went off in the SCT final last year with a nasty looking arm/ shoulder injury?

And if so, was it that injury that has kept him out until now?!
He's gotten awfully fond of that brick

you are right Cormac Daly is a good player. Against France they were always going for bulk in the pack.

Dalton moving to 6 is to add bulk to the pack I presume. He looks a physical player.

The centers are on the small side but they're very inventive and fast so theyll be interesting to watch.
