Re: Ireland Vs Italy, Lansdowne Road, Saturday 10th Feb @14:
Ringrose has the gas, is a great broken field runner, and he is a serious counter attacking option, even if it meant Aki could be brought off the bench as an impact sub its a more attacking option than a lot of combinations we (could) have
Ringrose and Earls (in his best position of 11) on the wings would allow for a more attacking threat at 15
It is all still stemming from the problem of nobody is nailing down the 14 shirt for Leinster or Ireland
*Tadhg Beirne has been training with the squad for a couple of weeks*

You're right that Ringrose is better at 13 than 14, but Henshaw for me is much better at 13 than 12. And Ringrose isn't a 12. Creates a tricky situation.simonokeeffe wrote:Ringrose has the gas, is a great broken field runner, and he is a serious counter attacking option, even if it meant Aki could be brought off the bench as an impact sub its a more attacking option than a lot of combinations we (could) have

Henshaw at 12 was a needs must situation from day 1; who is better out of position between Earls, Henshaw, Ringrose and an in position Stockdale, and then how do we get a more attacking fullback inneiliog93 wrote:You're right that Ringrose is better at 13 than 14, but Henshaw for me is much better at 13 than 12. Conan showing his value there. Something we've missed in the back row there.

Hope Tadhg is ok. Didn't look too bad but I said that about JVDF last week.

Hamstrings are better than knee injuries; but that’s maybe clutching at straws.wixfjord wrote:Hope Tadhg is ok. Didn't look too bad but I said that about JVDF last week.
