Blackrock snuck past Gerards 19-17 in a very unconvincing fashion on sunday. Although the power of their pack was scary when properly used.
Belvedere got past Newbridge yesterday, although they were also pretty unconvincing. Their size advantage told in the end, 23-7.
Can Marys smaller pack upset Roscrea today?

Marys defeated Roscrea yesterday 32-29 to get into their 1st semi final since 2010.

Michaels vs Clongowes today for final semi final place.

I watched the Mary's game last night and they were absolutely brilliant. It honestly looked like they had a Junior Cup pack out, they were tiny compared to Roscrae, but they backed their skills and their fitness and scored some cracking tries. Their maul was so well coached as well, it was a serious weapon and I don't get how Roscrae couldn't use their bulk to stop it. Roscrae's forwards did get rumbling forward a fair few times but Mary's just kept working hard and hung in there, which was especially impressive when they gave up their 14 point lead. Milne was outstanding for Roscrae, first time I've seen him but he looks to have the size for pro rugby already.

Michael's beat Clongowes, Micheal's always in control really. Semi draw is Michael's vs Belvo. Mary's vs Rock.
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us

Rock will make final via the softest draw...Castlenock...Gerard's...Mary's. Whoever wins Michael's v Belvedere match will be champions. Michael's route toughest..Terenure, Clongowes, Belvedere.

I don’t know if anyone else noticed it, but the other Michael’s second row Matthew Healy showed some ridiculous pace at the start of the 2nd half, that really blew me away.

yeah both second rows showed serious athleticism.

Michaels do a fantastic job of developing lads as athletes and rugby players with good basics...

I thought the CWC 8 looked a decent player. He was good last year too.
