Italian teams often find a way to contrive to lose games they deserve to win, especially when their opponents only need a penalty. We shall see. Dreadful performance overall, lit up a few times by Larmour. Second rows muck again, SOB not himself (yet), backs disjointed.

Mick Kearney has been appalling since he came on.

steeped to get a lbp there. I doubt if we will see Jack captaining again.

Our 2nd rows were so poor and Joey wasn't much better.

Treviso thoroughly deserved the win.

Can't complain about the result, Treviso deserved to win. They really have improved. It's a pity for us to lose our formidable home record at the RDS but unlike some other losses in recent years (Dragons, Glasgow) this one didn't hinge on contentious refereeing decisions. We've potentially screwed Ulster royally here, sorry for that Jackie. The only consolation is that because Scarlets were even more rubbish than us this weekend, our lbp guarantees us top spot in our conference and the home semi.

In fairness all three second rows were gash, centers pure shyte too.

Young Joey C just needs to learn to manage a game too - matches are won by planning and playing what’s in front of you, not magic.

Think I'd go as far as to say, we'd probably have won if Ross started. Mostly because we would have been playing on the other side of the pitch...

Congratulations Benetton, a great win and reward for a lot of hard work in recent times. I've never seen them so aggressive or focused.

Leinster were shocking. Absolute horror performance.

Noel had a very promising start to his Leinster career and deserved his Ireland cap on the 2014 Argentina tour. His defence/physicality was always his biggest weakness, but he has shown improvement in this area over the last couple of years. It all seemed to be going so well. Unfortunately, he's been very poor in his recent Leinster outings and will be 28 before the end of the season. His place at Leinster might be vulnerable in the long-term with Mullin and the 3 academy O'Briens comings through.

Awful from us, awful.
Treviso were good for the win.
But tonight is the night that we wrapped up the conference. 5 points clear of Scarlets with a 126pt advantage with one game to go, it's done. No pain in the ass qf for us.
Treviso must now be favourites to get that Heino playoff spot ahead of Ulster. And that would be at home too.
Sorry Ulster. It really isn't your day.

it has to be said that JGP was really dreadful, his game has gone down the drain this season and he seems happy to be the back-up 9 rather than fighting for a starting place.

Opting for the likes of Nagle/Kearney over Beirne is a decision that we will rue for years

Joey again showing he struggles to manage a game from 10. Has a lot of work to do on that side of his play.

Reid was never good enough to be considered a serious option at 12 in the future. He's never been consistent enough and looks weak in contact and has little defence when the 12 sets the tone for all the backs. Look at henshaw ane nacewa when they tackle. They relish it, Reid looks he would rather be anywhere else.
