Given how many "squad players" will be needed in pro 14, could see this being a very young team.. at least at the beginning

Assume it will be coached by Peter Smyth with Noel McNamara in Nz.

is the Daly playing 2nd row Cormac Daly (ex Leinster/Ireland 20's) ??

Hi Ian, I know we almost got rid of you a few years back but you came back despite the great support from the fans. To repay you how does sitting on the bench for the A's on Friday afternoon sound?

Two players in their 30's on the bench for Munster A. Some top-notch planning for the future there. Both of them have more senior provincial appearances than the entire Leinster 23 (84 senior apps), in fact Keatley has three times as many appearances (257, 180 Munster, 77 Connacht).

Obviously they can do what they like and have their own reasons for the selection, but Keatley is 5th choice and leaving at the end of the season, so to make him bench for an A game is just...very Munster.

Leinster have 3 senior contracted players with a total of 75 caps, along with 9 caps from academy players. Making 84 total leinster caps in team.

Ian Keatley who is on the Munster bench has over 250 senior caps between Munster & Connacht and he is just one of 12 senior players in Munster A side.

Munster have 3 players under-20 in their squad, one of whom is under-19. 1 starter for Leinster A is under-20.
